PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a blur in the unit of pixels without the occurrence of color mixing even with a color imaging element of a single CCD type. SOLUTION: The image stabilizing device has electronic image position correcting means for performing such control as to move the charges of the images captured into a CCD image pickup sensor during exposure to the CCD image pickup sensor in a direction for which the blur quantity is canceled in the CCD image pickup sensor according to the corresponding number of pixels calculated by means for calculating the number of pixels corresponding to the blur quantity. This electronic image position correcting means has a transfer cell array capable of holding the image data for at least two screens in the charge transfer section of the CCD image pickup sensor.
