POLYPROPYLENE FOAMED MOLDED OBJECT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a polypropylene foamed molded object comprising a skin layer and a highly foamed core material both of which are molded from the same resin, having good appearance and having lightweight properties, high rigidity and impact resistance. SOLUTION: The polypropylene foamed molded object is manufactured through an injection filling process starting the injection of a foamable resin composition, which comprises a specific propylene/ethylene block copolymer, an ethylene∼1-butene copolymer rubber, an inorganic filler and a foaming agent, into a cavity of which the volume is smaller than the total volume of the foamable resin composition used at a time from an adjusted position and completing injection at the position corresponding to the whole volume of all amount of the foamable resin composition and a foam molding process for foaming the foamable resin composition while expanding the cavity.
