PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase functionality of tongue needle. SOLUTION: This tongue needle has a plate spring belonging to a tongue and the plate spring is arranged in a tongue slit and is retained by a bearing seat dealing with a narrow width side. Each bearing seat has a supporting face and at least one opposing face. The end part of the plate spring is connected to both the faces and retained at the faces. The play of the plate spring in the axial direction or in the length direction is set small so that the plate spring is not disengaged from a middle chamber laid between the supporting face and the opposing face even when the plate spring is largely displaced. Consequently, the plate spring is prevented from being lost by the tongue slit and retained.
