PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a quantitative evaluation, to eliminate possibility of worker' s personal difference and data operation in a drafting decision work, to enable automating of the deciding work and reducing of deciding and data retrieving man-hours and to shorten an inspecting time. SOLUTION: A sectional shape quality managing system for an extrusion molding executes the quality control of the sectional shape of the extrusion molding by the non-defectiveness or defectiveness decision of the sectional shape of the molding. The managing system comprises an image scanner 1 having a work piece 5 mounted on a frame-like thin piece 4 of the same sectional shape as that of a metal mold, a frame or the like for mounting a thin piece 3 of the molding sliced in a predetermined thickness at a part of the molding on an image pickup surface 10 for picking up an image, and a computer 2 for comparing the picked-up image data with a designed basic shape to decide whether it is acceptable or not. |
