PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a toner concentration control method therefore, whereby even when an environmental factor changes, toner concentration can be appropriately controlled without decreasing the operating rate of the device and performing excessive correction, and the appropriate toner concentration can be maintained. SOLUTION: It is determined that whether the correction of an output voltage of a toner concentration sensor is required or not (S1 to S7). Only when the correction is required, the output voltage of the toner concentration sensor is corrected. In order to correct the output voltage, a control voltage is corrected (S8), and the output voltage is corrected while the correction intensity of the control voltage thereafter is decreased (S8 to S13). When the correction is not required, the step immediately proceeds to an image forming operation. |
