<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve theft-proof effect and to stabilize a parking condition by easily regulating rotation of a rear wheel in parking, and to improve productivity by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: This scooter type vehicle with a parking brake device includes a drum member 28 arranged on a driving shaft 23 for transmitting rotation of a crank-shaft to a rear wheel in a unit case 7 of a power unit 5, a plurality of rotation side engaging parts 31 projected in a peripheral part of the drum member 28 at equal intervals, and a fixed side engaging part 32 which is movable between a traveling position and a parking position by operation from an outside of the unit case 7, is engaged with the rotation side engaging parts 31 of the drum member 28 in the parking position, and is arranged in the unit case 7. The scooter type vehicle with a parking brake device prevents rotation of the driving shaft 23 by engaging the rotation side engaging part 31 and the fixed side engaging part 32 and regulates the rotation of the rear wheel.</p> |
