PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing anα,β-unsaturated ketone having the advantages of avoiding high-boiling point byproduct formation, scarcely forming aldehyde-aldehyde consecutive product, scarcely forming ketone-ketone consecutive product, high space time yield, and a small-sized reactor. SOLUTION: This method for producing anα,β-unsaturated ketone of formula I comprises reaction between an aldehyde of formula II and a ketone of formula III; wherein a catalyst is included in a continuous phase with at least one adduct dispersed therein, and the load factor of the tubular reactor is >=0.8, and in the formulas I, II and III, R<1> and R<2> are each a 1-20C, especially 1-16C branched- chain or nonbranched-chain saturated or unsaturated aliphatic or alicyclic aliphatic hydrocarbon group or the like; and R<3> is H or a 1-10C aliphatic hydrocarbon group.
