PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger cart which eliminates a risk caused when a length of supporting poles which support a roof is adjusted. SOLUTION: Supporting poles 4 for supporting a roof 3 which is provided above a chassis 2 is provided on the chassis 2. The supporting poles 4 are provided such that the longitudinal length thereof can be changed by inserting movable supporting poles 5 extending downward from the roof 3 with fixed supporting pole 6 provided on the chassis 2. A fix means is provided for allowing the movable supporting poles 5 to be movable while being fixed by the fixed supporting poles 6. A shock absorber 1 which is sandwiched by the roof 3 and the chassis 2 is provided for allowing the roof 3 to slowly free-fall with a release of fixation by the fix means.
