PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which is free from contamination on folded lines in an image obtained by fixing by heating and melting and which shows proper standard gloss, a wide temperature range for fixing and little offset, and to provide a method for manufacturing the toner, a method for forming an image and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing toner containing a binder resin, a coloring agent and an ester compound having a endothermic peak in the range from 50 deg.C to 110 deg.C, the ester compound contains polyhydric alcohol monomer esters (noted by A) and polyhydric alcohol polymer esters (noted by B) with the mass ratio of A to B ranging from 70:30 to 99:1.
