PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning method which can make an optical scanning system small-sized and save its energy and to provide an optical scanner which can be made small-sized and saves the energy by using the optical scanning method. SOLUTION: The optical scanning method which deflects the light beam from a light source for scanning by reflecting surfaces 2 to 7 rotated and moved by a rotor uses narrow-band light interfering reflecting films as the reflecting surfaces. Further, the narrow-band light-interfering reflecting films are stacked and constituted as mutually parallel reflecting surfaces. Further, the reflecting surfaces 2 to 7 made of the light-interfernig reflecting films are arrayed radially around the center O of rotation of the rotor 1. Consequently, the rotor can be made small-sized and reduced in tare and the optical scanning system can be made small-sized and reduced in energy. |
