PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a peeling method which peels the photosensitive layer at the ends of an electrophotographic photoreceptor without degrading the adhesion property of the photosensitive layer in the boundary segments in peeling the photosensitive layer and does not allow the traces of blurring in the photosensitive layer occur in the boundary segments. SOLUTION: This method comprises spraying glass beads 7a from an injection nozzle 16 to the ends of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 2 formed with the photosensitive layer 2b on the surface of a substrate 2a and peeling the photosensitive layer 2b at the ends by the effect of the injection pressure of the glass beads 7a.
