PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cop-changing apparatus in a roving frame capable of shortening the working process in a cop-changing work to the minimum or simplifying it. SOLUTION: A bobbin-holding member 43 has bobbin-hanging parts 44 formed on two sites of cop-changing arms 15a, 15b of a cop-changing apparatus 10, and it is installed on the cop-changing apparatus in a freely rotating manner. In a state where an empty bobbin B1 is hanged on one of the bobbin-hanging parts 44, a full bobbin B2 is hanged on the other bobbin-hanging part 44, and subsequently, the bobbin-holding member 43 is turned. Since a doffing work and an empty bobbin-feeding work can be performed immediately in this state, the reciprocal motion of the cop-changing apparatus 10 to a roving frame 1 becomes once, and thus, the working process in the cop-changing work by the cop-changing apparatus 10, an elevating apparatus 20 and a transferring apparatus 30 can be made minimum.
