PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device capable of correctly forming a fold at a specified position in a sheet of a document or the like. SOLUTION: This sheet folding device A1 is provided with carrying rollers 1 and 3 to carry the sheet S to pass close to adjacent parts to folding rollers 1 and 2, a guide part 4 to change a course of the sheet S to let it curve toward the adjacent parts, a stopper 5 to stop move of a tip part of the sheet S guided by the guide part 4 to direct a curved part of the sheet S to the adjacent parts to the folding rollers 1 and 2, and a folding position regulation member 6 abutting on the inner side of an adjacent part of the sheet S to increase curvature of the sheet S before the tip part of the sheet S abuts on the stopper 5, and to set the curved part to get closer to the adjacent parts to the folding rollers 1 and 2 for regulating a folding position of the sheet S.
