PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device which has excellent fixing quality and with which a longer life is achieved by repairing the deformation of the hollow of silicon rubber of the fixing belt produced as the cause to produce the degradation of the fixing image. SOLUTION: The belt fixing device having fixing rollers within the fixing belt 61 and a pressure roller 62 facing the fixing rollers across the fixing belt 61 is provided with a mode that the rollers rotate regardless of fixing operation during standing-by of the belt fixing device. |
