PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing lens mechanism which can prevent a lens unit from sticking at the root and/or tip part of a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: The focusing lens mechanism which threadably engages the lens unit 13 with the rotary shaft 15 of a stepping motor having a screw part 15a formed and drives the lens unit 13 along the rotary shaft 15 by the driving of the stepping motor 14 is provided with idle parts 15b and 15c which idle about the lens unit 13 at the root part and/or tip part of the rotary shaft 15.
