PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a built-in condition of a thermostat valve including a ring slider opened in the axial direction and capable of being displaced by a thermally actuated member, a base plate forming a seal seat together with an end edge of the ring slider and including a nipping end edge and provided with a notch between the nipping end edge and the seal seat, a return spring energizing the ring slider toward the base plate, and a support stand for the return spring. SOLUTION: In a thermostat valve including the ring slider 15 opened in the axial direction, the base plate 10 forming the seal seat 17 together with the ring slider 15, and the return spring 24 energizing the ring slider 15 toward the base plate 10, the support stand 25 for the return spring 24 is retained on the base plate 10.
