PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement preventing device for water-proof sheet receiving frame that can prevent a water-proof sheet receiving frame which is provided in the tail plate of a tunnel boring machine to line the segment of a tunnel with a water-proof sheet in a cylindrical shape from tilting and coming into contact with the tail plate or a tail seal fitting from breaking the water-proof sheet. SOLUTION: Water-proof sheet protective projecting members having higher heights than the tail seal fitting are fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the tail plate at prescribed intervals in the peripheral direction and, at the same time, receiving frame displacement controlling projecting members are fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the water-proof sheet receiving frame at prescribed intervals in the peripheral direction in a state where the members are shifted from the water-proof sheet protective projecting members in the peripheral direction. Consequently, when the receiving frame is inclined from the axial center of the tail plate at the time of laying or welding the water-proof sheet, the frame is prevented from directly coming into contact with the tail plate by means of the receiving frame displacement controlling projecting members and, at the same time, the tail seal fitting is prevented from sliding on the water-proof sheet lining the segment and breaking the sheet by means of the water-proof sheet protective projecting members.
