PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for cosmetic or personal care use containing a polymer for hair styling, the film-forming properties of the polymer for hair styling is improved, especially it is used under a high humidity condition. SOLUTION: The composition for cosmetic or personal care use contains a polymer for hair styling having an acidic functional group, an anionic group being originated from the acidic functional group, or one or more groups selected from mixtures of the above-mentioned groups, a partially or completely fluorinated compound having an amino group, an acid salt of the amino group or one or more groups selected from the above-mentioned groups and having one aromatic group, and cosmetically acceptable diluents or carriers. This composition is effective, especially used under a high humidity condition.
