PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for intake of deep seawater capable of improving durability of an intake hose for guiding deep seawater. SOLUTION: An intake vessel 21 is provided with a rope guide 22 for guiding a sea anchor rope 26 having a plumb bob 28 connected to a tip end, a winch 24 for a rope for reeling and unreeling the rope 26, an intake pump 25, and a reel for a hose for reeling and unreeling an intake hose 27. Many connecting tools 29 are attached and detached to the rope 26 which is suspended to the rope guide 22 in reeling and unreeling of the winch 24, and the intake hose 27 is supported on the rope 26 by attaching the connecting tools 29. When the intake hose 27 and the rope 26 are lifted on the intake vessel 21, the intake hose 27 is separated from the rope 26 and is reeled to a reel 43 for a hose to collect, and the sea anchor rope 26 is reeled to the winch 24 to collect.
