<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insoluble and infusible silsesquioxane-based polymer molding which has heat resistance, excellent insulation properties, mechanical strength, etc., and is formed by using a hydrosilylated polymer and to provide a simple method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This silsesquioxane-based polymer molding is obtained by heating and curing a hydrosilylated polymer of a hydridosilsesquioxane represented by general formula (1) (HSiO3/2 )n (1) (n is an integer of 4-1,000) or its mixture and a divinylsiloxane represented by general formula (2) CH2 = CH-SiR2 -O-(SiR2 -O)q -(SiR'2 -O)q ',-SiR2 -CH=CH2 (2) (R and R' are each an alkyl group which may contain a substituent group or an aryl group which may contain a substituent group; q and q' are each 0 or a positive integer) or its mixture at a temperature equal to or higher than a softening point or a melting point. The molding is useful as an insulating material, a heat-resistance material, etc.</p> |
