PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the carry-out amount of a cut material and/or upgrade the drilling efficiency and further, improve the fixing of a drill anchor when the drill anchor is embedded, and extend the life of a drill. SOLUTION: The suction drill for working a rock comprises an insertion end part 3 to be inserted into the housing part of a manual tooling device which generates at least a partial rotary motion and a partial knocking motion and a stepwise tapering shaft 7. The shaft 7 has a suction opening 9 which exists at least partially extending along the shaft 7 and is open toward a drill head 8 and a connection opening 10 which communicates with the suction opening 9 and is formed in a radial direction so as to secure an airtight connection of a freely rotating suction head 11. The drill head 8 has an eccentrically arranged drill head tip 12 and can open a drilled hole 14 with a large diameter D of a drilled hole than the diameter B of the drill head 8.
