<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device which can reliably detect a human body by allowing a reflex radio wave sensor mounted on the toilet device to not only automatically adjust a direction of the radio wave sensor and an angle of beam spread thereof according to a state of an operation for taking/leaving a toilet seat in a toilet space but also automatically adjust output of transmission and sensitivity of reception. SOLUTION: In the toilet device in the toilet space, the radio wave sensor 1, which detects the presence or absence of the human body by making a transmitted transmission wave reflected from the human body, is mounted below the toilet seat and equipped with transmission and reception means 9 and 11 for a radio wave. Characteristically, the toilet device is provided with a start-to- sit-on-seat discrimination means 15 and a start-to-leave-seat discrimination means 17, which discriminate between a state where the human body starts to sit on the toilet seat and a state where the human body starts to leave the toilet seat, and a direction adjusting means 23 for adjusting transmission and reception directions of the sensor 1 above and ahead of a toilet bowl according to entrance of the human body into/exit of the human body from the toilet space and a state in which the human body takes/leaves the toilet seat.</p> |
