摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a vehicle to run at a low fuel consumption by making it transfer to minimum gear ratio of a V-belt automatic transmission in the region in which the engine speed is low. SOLUTION: A vehicle speed deciding part 18 emits a sensing signal, when vehicle speed V has reached a reference vehicle speed V1 of the intermediate shift range, while an ignition timing setting part 16 is fed with the engine speed Ne and degree of throttle openingθTH, searches a map, and determines the ignition timing. The ignition timing is fed to an ignition timing control part 17. The ignition timing setting part 16 possesses a lag map which is made partially lagging and a timing advance map for emitting the ignition timing, in response to the engine speed Ne, etc. The spark advance map is switched into the lag map, in response to the sensing signal given by a vehicle speed deciding part 18, and thereby the ignition timing is changed in the lagging direction in the intermediate shift range, the engine speed is lowered, and it is made to transfer to the minimum gear ratio. As a result, the vehicle speed changes, in accordance with the minimum gear ratio from the low-revolution range to the high-revolution range.
