PHOTOCHROMIC COMPOSITION AND DOSIMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inexpensive radiation color dosimeter with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: This photochromic composition comprises a photochromic compound, e.g. formula 1 and a metal complex, e.g. formula 2. The content of the metal complex in the composition is 0.5-10 times of weight based on the photochromic compound. The dosimeter uses the photochromic compound. The figure illustrates a chromaticity region of an XYZ colorimetric system of the preferred photochromic composition.
