PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device capable of forming a door storage case by making use of substrate members having the same size as that of the inside and outside directions of the door storage case for walls having different sixes in thickness. SOLUTION: The door storage case 7 provided to the wall 4 for storing a sliding door body 1 is formed by mounting outside surface forming members 56 to the substrate members 50, and for the wall having a different size T1 in thickness, arranged positions in the inside and outside directions of the door storage case of the substrate members 50 are changed, and by the constitution, such a fact that the surface position of the door storage case coincides with the surface position of a part of the wall getting out of the door storage case can be carried out by using in common the substrate members 50 having the same size in the inside and outside directions of the door storage case.
