PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-slope start auxiliary device of a vehicle capable of starting a vehicle having a fluid coupling for generating a predetermined creep force in gear-in of a transmission after operating an HAS (after closing a brake force holding valve). SOLUTION: This device comprises a fluid coupling 4 that is interposed between an engine 1 and the transmission 3 and generates the predetermined creep force in the gear-in of the transmission 3, a brake force holding valve 61 that is disposed in a fluid pressure passage 60 of a brake, holds a brake force at this time in closing the valve, and releases the brake force in opening the valve, a gear-in sensor 46 for detecting the gear-in of the transmission 3, a brake sensor 52 for detecting the stepping of a brake pedal 51, and a controlling part 56 for opening or closing the brake force holding valve 61. When the gear-in sensor 46 detects the gear-in of the transmission 3 and the brake sensor 52 detects the stepping of the brake pedal 51 after closing the brake force holding valve 61, the controlling part 56 allows the opening of the brake force holding valve 61.
