PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle plate comprising a water repellent film having the excellent corrosion resistance with respect to an ink, a production method for the nozzle plate, and an ink-jet printer. SOLUTION: A method for producing a nozzle plate 40 of an ink-jet printer by a powder shaping method using an Fe or an Fe based metal powder comprises the steps of providing one of the surfaces of the nozzle plate in a porous configuration, and covering the surface with a water repellent film 35.
