<p>It is arranged that the unilateral flow rate of vehicles can be precisely measured on a bench testing machine in a short time without damaging car bodies or tires. Rollers (1F, 1R) for mounting wheels (WF, WR) of a vehicle (A) are made movable right and left. With the wheels (WF, WR) rotating at a predetermined speed, the transverse forces (cornering forces) acting on the rollers (1F, 1R) are measured with detectors (3). And the yawing angular speed is calculated when the vehicle (A) is making steady revolution on the basis of the transverse forces on the rollers (1F, 1R), and the unilateral flow rate is calculated from this yawing angular speed.</p> |
