A WEB monitoring system has a monitoring server device (1) comprising a WEB access data collecting unit (11) for collecting WEB data acquired from an external WEB site (24) by a user computer (6), an automatically collected WEB data collected automatically by an information collecting robot unit (18) that the monitoring server device (1) has, and provision data provided from the user computer (6) to the external WEB site (24), a search formula setting unit (12) for setting a search condition formula for extracting improper information from the data being monitored, and a searching unit (13) for executing search by the search condition formula set by the search formula setting unit (12) and classifying the data into at least two kinds according to the degree of match between the data being monitored and the search condition formula. The results of the search by the searching unit (13) can be referred to by a monitor computer (7).
