PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a possibility of unnecessarily switching lock and unlock states of a steering device, even if an abnormality is generated in either one of first and second microcomputers in a steering lock control device for a vehicle provided with a steering lock means for switching the lock and unlock states according to an operation of an electric actuator, a first microcomputer for outputting a command signal for fixing the operation state of the electric actuator, a driver for driving the electric actuator and a second microcomputer capable of controlling the operation of the driver according to the command signal inputted from the first microcomputer. SOLUTION: The first microcomputer 10 controls continuity/interruption between a battery 14 and the driver 11 mounted on the vehicle to be a continuity state by time required for switching the lock and unlock states by the steering lock means 5 when outputting the command signal.
