PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate compressed air, even when the rotational torque provided by a water wheel or a windmill varies. SOLUTION: This compressor unit is provided with, for example, the water wheel 1 as a rotational power generating means driven by water power, a reduction gear 2, an air compressor 3 provided with plural operational cylinders 14, a compressed air storage tank 4, and a control device 8 adjusting load of the air compressor 3 according to torque provided by the water wheel. The control device 8 adjusts the numbers of the operational cylinders 14, to generate compressed air according to rotational torque provided by the water wheel 1. Consequently, the water wheel can rotate at an appropriate rotation speed to stably operate the air compressor 3. |
