<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerator having a vegetable compartment in which vegetables and fruit can be preserved for a long term and management of stock can be facilitated. SOLUTION: A moisture permeable cover 8 openably and closably covering the upper surface opening of a vegetable container 7 is made of a transparent material and fixed to be drawn out together with the vegetable container 7 when the door 6 of a vegetable compartment 5 is opened. Since there is less possibility of the vegetables being exposed directly to the outer air, and abrupt variation of temperature or humidity in the vegetable container 7 can be minimized, vegetables can be kept fresh for a long term. Furthermore, stock can be managed at a glance when the vegetable compartment 5 is opened or closed because the vegetables are stored while being unpacked.</p> |
