PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a positioning device while maintaining the measurement accuracy of the positioning device. SOLUTION: A zero offsetΔθcan be defined as the amount of displacement (one-dimensional vector) of the amount of positioningθbetween the location of a temporary origin (S=4u+2v+w=1,θ=0 deg.) assumed on the basis of the phase of a divided phase S constituted of three phases of a u-phase, a v-phase, and a w-phase and a true originθ0 located on an origin signal (origin mark) in Fig. The value of the zero offsetΔθis expressed with the true originθ0 as a reference (starting point) and with the positive direction of an electrical angleθas it is. The zero offsetΔθis measured at the start of the positioning device and, for example, used as the amount of correction to the electrical angleθwhen controlling the passage of electricity through a motor. By eliminating the need for executing conventional physical alignment in this way, it is possible to shorten manufacturing time of an encoder, a linear scale, a brushless DC motor, etc., reduce production cost, and improve productivity. |
