PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt capable of preventing the occurrence of waviness at a boundary part between a part round which a reinforcing tape is provided and a part round which the tape is not provided when the intermediate transfer belt is laid on rollers and tensile load is exerted in the traveling direction of the intermediate transfer belt in a full color copying machine or the like. SOLUTION: The reinforcing tape 2 is provided round the inner surfaces of both edge parts of a belt main body 1 along the edge parts, and the diameter of both edge parts of the main body 1 round which the tape 2 is provided is extended. The inner peripheral length of the main body 1 at the diameter- extended part A is made longer than that of a part B other than the diameter- extended part A.
