PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of an oil roller by preventing excessive exuding of oil in warming up and by suppressing the excessive amount of oil application in intermittent image printing. SOLUTION: This fixing device is constituted to supply the oil from feeding member (3) formed with a porous fluorine surface layer packed with a silicon oil adhesive layer in pores onto an oil holding layer impregnated with the silicon oil to a fixing member (1). An intermediate oil application member (7) is arranged between the fixing member and the oil feeding member.
