The invention concerns a closure (16) for a collector vessel (12) containing a pressurised fluid, in particular for an air conditioning condenser collector vessel. The collector vessel includes a bore (20) wherein the closure (16) is arranged. The bore comprises a groove (22) wherein are provided stop means (18), for example a snap ring, for retaining the closure (16) in fixed position in the bore (20). The closure comprises means (30) which prevent the stop means (18) from being removed from the groove (22) so long as the closure (16) is pressed against said stop means. The means preventing the removal of the snap ring outside the groove preferably consist of a cylindrical portion (30) projecting on the closure (16) and which is urged to be housed in the centre of the snap ring when the closure is pressed against it.
