<p>A disk clamping device for holding a disk by a turntable and a clamper comprising a clamper arm turned in directions in which it approaches the turntable and separates from it and a leaf spring member which is partly fixed to the clamper arm, lifts the clamper when a disk is unclamped, and holds the center of an upper part of the clamper toward the turntable when the disk is champed. The leaf spring member holds the clamper at both ands when the disk is unclamped by providing a tongue piece for holding both sides of a part of the leaf spring member for holding the center of the upper part of the clamper to the end part of the clamper arm while the leaf spring member is so held by a fixing member as to be elastically deformed when the disk is unclamped. Thus, the disk clamping device has a reduced number of parts, increases the height of a space where the disk is transferred with respect to the total height, and reduces the driving force when it clamps/unclamp the disk.</p> |
