<p>Fiber optic modules and methods of assembly of fiber optic modules are disclosed. Fiber optic modules (1000) include one or more printed circuit boards (106', 108') arranged at an angle with a base (805). The printed circuit boards are parallel to an optical axis of one or more optoelectronic devices such as a receiver (111) or a transmitter (110). The printed circuit boards may include a ground plane to reduce electrical crosstalk. A shielded housing or cover (419) provides shielding for electromagnetic interference. The base or the housing may include a septum (815) to separate the fiber optic modules into a first side and second sides to provide additional shielding and to further minimize crosstalk.</p> |
