<p>Ribbon of fastener coated with heat/pressure sensitive adhesive max. melting point 150 degrees C, protected by silicone-treated paper before use. Pref. outlets for zips are leather and shoe industries. Adhesive layer is dry and contains solvent released by mechanical breaking of surface. Adhesive based on thermoplastic or thermohardening resin, particularly polyester, polyamide, vinyl polymers. For textile industry adhesives based on polyethylene give good resistance to chlorinated solvents and alkali washings.</p> |
