An acoustical insulation product for a vehicle includes a blanket of fibers and a facing material adhered to a major surface of the blanket. The product has a perimeter flange made by pressing the facing material and an edge portion of the blanket together. The flange provides stiffness to the product, and the flange is capable of being held in place on the vehicle by an attachment system.
