PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for storing tea leaves with which tea production operations can be distributed and the quality of tea leaves can be improved. SOLUTION: This system 1 for storing the tea leaves is formed from a steaming device 2 steaming the plucked tea leaves, a blast freezer 3 for removing a natural heat of the steamed tea generated at the steaming device 2, and a prefabricated ice-temperature chamber 4 for carrying out a low-temperature storage of the steamed tea cooled by the blast freezer 3 at a temperature within the range over the temperature at which the steamed tea freezes.
