The air conditioning process involves the use of a heat pump. With the heating boiler (K) switched off, a heat pump (W) fitted in the hot water circuit of a standard hot water system is switched on for a cooling operation using the normal water supply. The heating radiators (H) are thus made to serve as cooling radiators.
