Slag dosing and granulating device comprises: a vessel (1) for receiving the hot slag (2); a contoured roller-like module (3) arranged below the vessel and rotating in the direction of a lateral end of the vessel using a drive unit (3.1); a flap (4) arranged on the lateral lower end of the vessel perpendicularly to the axis of the module and having a height corresponding to the distance of the roller axis of the module from the lower side of the vessel; and a receiving unit (5) for granulated slag. Preferred Features: The vessel can be cooled and has a funnel-like outlet (1.1) on the lower side facing the module. The module is electrically or hydraulically driven and is made from a heat resistant material, e.g. silicon nitride.
