PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of largely reducing a water consumption by recirculating at a high efficiency a washing water generated from the treatment of a film provided with a carbon particle based backing layer. SOLUTION: The method for recirculating the washing water generated from the treatment of the film provided with the carbon particle based backing layer, wherein the treatment is a washing treatment for removing the carbon particle based backing layer, the method includes a process that the washing water is allowed to pass through a fine filtering equipment provided with a fine filtering membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene based material, a permeated matter is obtained in the process and the washing water not containing the carbon particle is obtained in the permeated matter.
