<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality improving device which can prevent the occurrence of the state that the water in a treatment water area is contaminated by the spread of sludge discharged from a water quality improving body when the water quality improving body is washed. SOLUTION: This water quality improving device is provided with the water quality improving body 15 which is arranged under the surface of the treatment water area 10, a clarifying pump 45 which generates water current so that the water passes through the water quality improving body 15 and clarifies the water in the treatment water area and a washing device 46 which washes the water quality improving body 15 by jetting the air from the lower part. In addition, a partition body 50 which encloses the upper side of the water quality improving body 15 in the horizontal direction and reserves the sludge produced by washing with the washing device 46 and discharged from the water quality improving body 15 inside and a discharging pump 58 which sucks and discharges the sludge reserved in the partition body 50.</p> |
