PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform hand-assisted medical treatment or palpation, etc., with all fingers opened and included in the visual field of the observation part of an endoscope when the hand-assisted medical treatment or palpation is performed by an operator wearing an intracavitary diagnostic apparatus comprising the endoscope, etc., by connecting the main body of the diagnostic apparatus to a fastening means worn by the operator on a wrist or palm. SOLUTION: A wrist band 2 of the intracavitary diagnostic apparatus 4 is inserted into a hand of an operator wearing a medical glove, and the main body 1 of the diagnostic apparatus connected to the wrist band 2 is fixed and held at the wrist position. An illumination window 11 and an observation window 12 are formed on the tip surface 10a of a casing 10 of the main body 1 of the diagnostic apparatus in the direction toward finger tips, and the visual field of the observation window 12 is in the front in the inserting direction of the band 2 so that the palm and the fingers are covered in the visual field of observation.
