PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tip removing device for removing a tip by a simple method and reducing time to exchange the tip. SOLUTION: The automatic tip removing device for spot welding makes a tip removable and exchangeable by having a structure in which a fixed shaft is eliminated to form a floating state and in which the end face of a tip fixing shank is used as the fulcrum for rotation. The device is constituted of a tip- removing U-shaped tool 1, a cylinder 5 for vertical movement, an arm 2 for connecting the U-shaped tool to the cylinder, an arm floating spring 6, and a cylinder fixing base 7.
