PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blender by which a matter crushed and stirred in a container can easily be taken out and the container is easily kept to be sanitary. SOLUTION: The blender 1 is provide with the stirring container 3 for housing food material and an stirrer 4 for crushing and stirring the food material housed in the stirring container 3. The stirring container 3 has an upper opening 5 formed at an upper surface for feeding the food material and a lower take out port 6 formed at a lower end part for taking out crushed and stirred material. The stirrer 4 is provided with a driving mans 11, an stirring shaft 12 extended downward from the means 11 and inserted into the stirring container 3 and an stirring blade 13 extended outward from the shaft 12. At the lower end of the stirring shaft 12, a closing member 14 for closing the lower take out port 6 in an openable and closable state is provided.
