PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pottery Buddha statue which is burned together with the body of deceased when the deceased is cremated, which appears after burned, and makes participants to funeral feel that the deceased attains Buddhahood. SOLUTION: The clay Buddha statue cast with clay is wrapped with a material 1 that is easy to burn (paper, wood, resin, and the like) and is burned together with the body when the deceased is cremated. The clay Buddha status is changed into a pottery Buddha statue after burning. In addition, since a clay sculpture is wrapped with paper, wood, or resin, and burned together with the body when the deceased is cremated. Because of getting a suitable temperature that the clay sculpture is changed into pottery, damage to the clay sculpture is prevented not by raising the temperature directly but by applying heat to the material gradually.
