A first data display (IF1) has a second trace (T2) corresponding to a safe altitude. Safe altitude values are used in a second trace (T2) issued from at least two different data sources (S1,S2), the values of one or the other sources are used as a function of the flight phase and followed trajectory. An Independent claim is also included for a display, data collection and data processing system. Method for aiding an aircraft pilot in which is presented on a screen (5) a first set of data (IF1) which represents a vertical profile along the aircraft's theoretic flight path and which includes: (a) a system of axes (8,9), one axis ordinate is graduated in altitude and the abscissa (9) is graduated in distance from the aircraft's position; a particular symbol (7) represents the aircraft, which is positioned on the ordinate axis (8) at a position representative of its altitude; a first trace (T1) represents the theoretical flight path of the aircraft in the vertical plane, and; a third trace (T3) corresponds to a ground contour profile (10) in the vertical plane.
|
